The Start
Ok, I was going to go to an event in Jacksonville, Florida called LOLCON but it got canceled due to stolen art work.
A new event took its place called Itasha Expo and I went there instead.
Itasha Expo was an mostly Itasha event in Jacksonville Florida at Riverside Park. There were Vendors, Cosplayers, and food trucks there. Even though it was called Itasha Expo there were two Itansha there.
What did I see?
I saw 8 Itashas and 2 Itanshas but was only able to get pics of 6 of the 8 itashas. The first Itasha I saw was a Persona 4 Dancing All Night Itasha, but I didn’t take a pic of it because I already saw it twice at Central Florida Comic Con and Brick City Anime Festival. I took a pic of the Serial Experiments Lain Itasha next to it instead. And it was gone after I saw the rest of the Itashas and Itanshas at the event. The other Itasha I didn’t get a pic of was a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Itasha. It was between a Demon Slayer Itasha and a Strike Witches Itasha. It left as I was walking over to the Demon Slayer Itasha.

Serial Experiments Lain Itasha

Car: Ford Focus RS
The Serial Experiments Lain Itasha was a Ford Focus RS with the character known as Lain Iwakura on both sides. The car also had some text on both sides. On the driver’s side it said “ Close the World, Open the next”. Close the World was forward and Open the next was backwards. On the passengers side it said “ Let’s all love Lain “ On the back windows there were many slap stickers such as Red Suns, I like bear waifu$ that’s my fucking problem, and Night kids. Also their license plate says Chikage which probably a nod to Wasei “JJ” Chikada who did some of the music on Serial Experiments Lain.
Akame la Kill Itansha

Motorcycle: 2015 Honda CB500f
This is the 2nd time I have seen this Itansha. The first time I saw it was at Holiday Matsuri 2021 which you can read about (here.) It was next to the Spice and Wolf Itansha which I have also seen before. But I have never seen the Akame la Kill Itansha Spice and Wolf Itansha together. So I took advantage of the opportunity. The Akame la Kill Itansha is a 2015 Honda CB500f. It is themed after Akame, one of the characters in the show. She is on the front fender, side fairings, fuel tank, and the rear of the motorcycle.
Spice and Wolf Itansha

Motocycle: 2017 Yamaha XSR900
Again this is my 2nd time seeing this Itansha. The first time I saw this Itansha was at MegaCon Orlando 2021. The Spice and Wolf Itansha is a 2017 Yamaha XSR900. On the fuel tank the character known as Holo plus the text “Spice and Wolf” were on both sides. Along with some company name on top of the fuel tank such as: Kadokawa, Funimation, Monster Energy, Dunlop Tires, Graves Motorsports, and Sugokawai. Plus the license plate says HOLO.
Demon Slayer Itasha

Car: 2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo
The Demon Slayer Itasha is a black Nissan 370z Nismo with Tanjiro using Hinokami Kagura on the passenger side and Nezuko in a battle stance on the driver side. This is the 2nd time I have seen this Itasha. I first saw it at MegaCon Orlando 2021. It didn’t have an Instagram handle on it back then, but now it does. So I can link to the owner now. In the interior there was a red hat with Tanjiro on it on the center console. And an Inosuke doll/pillow in the front passenger seat.
Strike Witches Itasha

Car: Subaru WRX
The Strike Witches Itasha is a White Subaru WRX with the character known as Yoshika Miyafuji symmetrically on both sides and on the hood. Also the 501st Joint Fighter Wing insignia on the rear side panels.
Seraph of the end Itasha

Car: Subaru Brz
The Seraph of the end Itasha is a white Subaru Brz. With the character know as Yūichirō Hyakuya on both sides and the hood of the BRZ. On the passenger side Yūichirō Hyakuya is in his half Seraph form and is fighting with is sword mid strike. On the hood Yūichirō Hyakuya is in two of his forms on the left, he is in his Demon form with spear ready to attack and on the right he is in his full Seraph form holding his sword in attack position. It says “Seraph of the end” behind Yūichirō Hyakuya but it is blocked by his two forms. Also the windshield banner shows the same thing as the hood with the difference that Seraph of the end is in the middle and is not being blocked by Yūichirō Hyakuya’s two forms. On the driver’s side Yūichirō Hyakuya is with the character Asuramaru.
Fire Force Itasha

Car: 2022 Toyota Supra 3.0
The Fire Force Itasha is a 2022 Toyota Supra with the character known as Maki Oze on both sides and the hood designed by Atomikku.
On both sides Maki Oze is wearing her Special Fire Force Company 8 uniform in attack position with her fire sprits Flare and Sputter. On the hood she is in a bent down position wearing her bunker gear with the top tied at her waist revealing her tank top. Also there is a Special Fire Force Company 8 logo on the roof.
Overwatch Itasha

Car: 2015 Kia Optima SXT
The Overwatch Itasha is a 2015 Kia Optima Sxt with the character D.va all over it. D.va is firing her pistol on both sides of the vehicle and the driver’s side of the windshield banner. D.va is taking a selfie on the hood and on the passenger side of the windshield banner. Also D.va’s catch phrase “Nerf This” can be found on the hood, windshield, and on both sides of the vehicle. But the owner took it one step forward and made their Instagram handle and license plate “Nrfth1s” which is a clever way to say “Nerf This”.
Demon Slayer X Hunter Hunter Itasha

Car: Toyota Supra
The Demon X Hunter Itasha is a red Toyota Supra with a crossover of Hunter x Hunter and Demon Slayer. There are many characters in the crossover but this Itasha focuses on Killua in a Demon Slayer Corps Uniform ready to slay demons with thunder breathing, simillar to Zenitsu. Killua is on both sides of the Supra and on the hood. Also it has racing number 99 on both sides and the hood. Since it is also a race car.
