Maker Faire Orlando 2022 Cars

Posted on November 23, 2022

How did I find the cars at Maker Faire Orlando 2022?

Over the weekend I went to Maker Faire Orlando 2022. I saw some cars on display there and took some pics and recorded some video.

While I was taking a food break from being in the Curiosity building for 2 hours. I saw some cars east of the DJ booth. I got up and investigated to see 3 BMWs with their hoods up, and 2 drift cars. I don’t know BMW models very well so I could’n tell you what models they were. I think the 2nd drift car was a Nissan Silvia but I could be wrong.

When I walked up I started to take pics of the engine bays of the first two cars I saw.

Then I saw the Nissan Silvia drift car in the very back and was gravitating to it.

I got closer and started taking pics of the car.

The Nissan Silvia drift car had no hood and had its engine bay exposed. It appeared to be LS swapped, which is a V8 engine made by Chevy/GM.

I inspected the interior to see it was stripped out to only necessary components. Bare metal floor with no carpet and sight, only the driver seat, Hydraulic handbrake with reservoir on top, multiple switches, full roll cage, exposed electrical system on the passenger side, and routing of cooling to the rear. There are probably more things I may have missed.

But alas I moved on to the rear to see no trunk lid, instead a large radiator to keep the Silvia cool. Plus a “ Engineered for Combat “ decal on the rear bumper.

Then I walked away due to more things at Maker Faire to see before they closed for the day.

I ended the event by taking pics of my Bronco in the parking lot before I left.

I really like taking pics of my Bronco.

I never stopped. Walking around at the Hot Wheels Legends Tour. This black Nissan Skyline stood out to me. Even though it was between a blue Nissan skyline and 2 white ones. Watching blue and black Nissan skylines drive away. Happy Memorial Day everyone I preordered the Hatsune Miku: Racing Ver. 2025 Plushie Set from Goodsmile last year. And it just came in. Well I got my very first Hatsune Miku plushie. I got the Hatsune Miku GT Project Hatsune Miku: Racing Ver. 2025 Plushie Set. I brought her on a whim. A cool little Mini with Snap on tools on the roof. I thought this was a European car. But it turns out this is a Nissan Pao. Clearly inspired by Mini and Fiat. A black car with suicide doors.
