Unboxing
The Led Dashboard came in a long box.
In the box there was the Led Dashboard, a 5a add a circuit/ fuse tap, and the instructions.
Testing
I used it at 12.3v and 13.9v pulling 60ma – 150mA.
The led Dashboard has a memory function. It will return to the last color it was on, if power is cut.
Colors it shows are Red, Green, Blue, Pink, Yellow, Violet
Then multi color that is Red, Green, Pink, and Yellow. It doesn’t show blue or violet
When given 12v it shows it’s start up sequence which is: fill with white light from left to right then red from right to left , then green from left to right, then blue from right to left then blinks to the last color before power was cut.
Touch switch switches the colors and turns it off or on.
Installation
To install the Led Dashboard I used a 7mm long socket with a coreless racket along with some pry tools.
I started by pulling down the panel above the driver foot well. Revealing the driver side bolt holding the radio / ac control panel on. Then hoping over to the passenger side to pull out the glove box to get to the passenger side bolt holding the radio / ac control panel on.
From there I got the panel under the radio / ac control loose. Then with both hands and great force I pulled the radio/ ac control down and out.
Next I removed the bolt right under the old dash that removing the radio/ ac panel reviled. After that I removed the 3 bolts that were under the passenger side airbag holding the old dash on.
Now that all the bolts holding the old dash were removed. I grabbed a pry tool and from the top of the dash I pried it out. It was attached to the engine start stop switch so I disconnect it from the back. Now that the dash was free, I put it to the side. I removed the engine start stop switch along with its hosing.
Then I put the Engine start stop switch with its hosing into the Led dash. I then reconnected the engine start stop to the Bronco. Then I pushed the led dash into place when the old one was. Then put the bolts back in their places. From there I connected the electrical of the Led dash. Into my accessories system panel. I connected the ground into a switch I had and positive into a positive bus bar. Then I hit the switch and the led dashboard came to life.
